Double-Barred Finches (Stizoptera bichenovii), also affectionately known as ‘owl finches’, are tiny little finch fluffballs that gather in large flocks, often with several other species, in search of delicious seeds. I saw these absolutely gorgeous birds for the first time at Narrabri Creek in 2026 and I absolutely fell in love. They had such a cute and endearing way of hopping in and out amongst the reeds by the riverbank, peeping softly at each other, I could barely contain myself, they were absolutely delightful. I can’t wait to see if I can find them again closer to home this time!

This sticker is suitable for and removable from most smooth surfaces when applied in dry, clean conditions. Water-resistant, but not guaranteed dishwasher-proof; your lovely sticker will last longer if you clean it gently with a little bit of water and a soft cloth (mild dish soap can be added for stubborn marks).
