Red-Tailed Black Cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus banksii) are large, beautiful black cockatoos with vibrant red-orange tails that inhabit much of western & northern Australia, with subspecies found across the west coast in Western Australia, all across the northern coast, and even to northern parts of New South Wales. Soaring across the landscape in search of eucalyptus seeds and other grains, these majestic cockatoos can congregate into the hundreds when they’ve hit the food jackpot together. 

I’ve been particularly awestruck by female Red-Tailed Black Cockatoos, because they look like glittering starlight and their tails like fiery comets, so these stickers were a must. <3
